Algebra 2

Article #1:

For this assignment we were asked to create an advertisement for a made up shop out of parabolas. We had to make an image using at least four parabolas and have four parabolas intersect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

While completing this assignment, I learned to use simpler designs to make it easier to complete. I started off by trying to do a dog. This was really complex, so I tried a few different objects before finally choosing the gumdrop. Then I came up with the phrase to go along with it.

 

Article #2:

I had a test on lessons 4-1 to 4-3 which was about exponential growth and decay functions. It was the first one hundred I got in Algebra 2.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I first learned these lessons in class they were really confusing. I didn't get a lot of the homework problems right the first time, so I went in early for my teacher's enrichment. Since she explained it to me one on one, I understood the lessons a lot better, however still had not perfected them. The test was the next day, so I made sure to do a lot of practice problems and study a lot. When I took the test the next day I felt confident that I would make a good grade and sure enough I did. This test helped me by letting me know that going to enrichment is a good use of time and can be very useful. I learned to get help when I am in need of it.
